MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

MOPS is an international non-profit organization providing a Christ-centered, caring ministry for mothers of children aged birth through kindergarten.  MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources.  This year’s theme is MomSense: Bold·Loving·Sensible, and the theme verse is 2 Timothy 1:7, “God doesn’t want us to be shy with His gifts, but bold and loving and sensible.”

A typical MOPS meeting includes an informal time of treats and conversation followed by an instructional time. Subjects relating to womanhood, marriage, child-rearing, and relationships are presented from a biblical perspective. Small group discussions at assigned tables provide honest interaction, deepening friendships, and spiritual enrichment.  During each meeting, children are cared for in the fun and educational Super Bible Club program.  Our loving and experienced Christian teachers have completed training and background checks.

SECOND SEMESTER MEETINGS
January 24, February 7 & 21, March 6 & 20, April 10 & 24

Fees:

Your fees cover all costs for both you and your child(ren). This includes an annual MOPS-to-Mom Connection subscription, childcare, crafts, special features, bi-monthly newsletter and hospitality expenses.

Fee Breakdown:

  • $25 Registration fee (due upon receipt)
  • $35 Semester two fee (due by January 24, 2012)
Because we charge only a modest fee, we require each MOPS mom to serve in the children’s program ministry once during the MOPS year, bring treats 2-3 times each semester and assist with greeting or clean-up for one meeting.
