It seems nearly futile to try and capture what the Lord did in Lima this past week. I was overwhelmed at how much the Peruvians loved on me and the rest of the our team from Grace. I was also overwhelmed by how God poured out his spirit on so many new believers. One highlight for me, was with a young mother at a hospital. She was there with her young son who was in surgery for the 3rd time. One of my teammates, Don, found this out by talking with her and asked if he could pray for her son. She agreed, and he prayed a heartfelt prayer and I joined along quietly to the side. Don had to leave to go visit with some children and I felt God's nudging to see where she was at spritually. With the help of a translator, I found out she and her husband were searching for God but weren't sure how to find Him. I told her it was no coincidence that we met and that God did want her to know  Him. She prayed to receive Christ. Our group came back and as we were heading out, she got word that her son's surgery had been very successful. To God be the glory!
