Help the Early Childhood Sunday School teachers by preparing crafts. We help take the busy work out of teaching Sunday School so teachers are free to devote more time to the class. You do not have to be creative to help. For more information, contact Heather at 952-224-3084 or hrue@atgrace.com.
VBS in the Park; Local Missions Teams
Several teams are forming for local missions and evangelism outreach for families. Close to home but worlds away, these high-impact outreaches involve us in something bigger than ourselves. Teams that are forming include:
- Christmas Outreach VBS at the Minneapolis Indian reservation: January 2 - 4
- VBS in the City: North Minneapolis with believer's in Christ church: August 2008
We also have other locations under consideration.
Feed My Starving Children Food Packing Day: Date TBD
Hands-on giving! We fill an entire Saturday with Grace families packing nutritious rice for hungry children. This food feeds our orphans in Liberia one meal a day.
Resurrection Easter Parties
Host an Easter party that shares the gospel message through creative egg hunts, Messiah vine activities and stories, and other tools to share the true meaning of Easter. A display and instructions will be available in the commons in March.
Container Collection for Orphans: April 20 and 27
School supplies, summer clothing, toys, games, and sports equipment are all needed for our pen-pals at King's Arms Academy. Bring your stuff and stay to help pack too! This will be an exciting event for the whole family.
