"Kairos" is a ministry for single young adults (twenty-somethings) who want to love Christ more.
Join us Tuesday nights as we study God's Word and its application to our lives, share with one another to develop and strengthen our relationships, and challenge and encourage one another to change the world for God's glory!

Women's One-Day Prayer Summit
Ladies...join other women in setting aside one day with Jesus Christ, our king. We will honor Him in prayer, song, the reading of scripture, personal reflection, and partaking in communion.
When: Sat. Aug. 16th
9:00 am-8:00 pm at Grace Church
Cost: $35.00 (includes materials and meals)

Kairos Retreat - UPDATED INFO!
What: Kairos Retreat
When: August 22-24. Carpools will leave after 5:00 on Friday.
Where: Timber Bay Retreat Center in Onamia, MN.
Cost: $100 for the weekend (including all meals Saturday and breakfast Sunday).
We are limited to 40 people so sign up soon!! You can reserve your spot with a $20 deposit.
Sign up with Sarah on Sunday or Tuesday (cash or check), or online (credit card). Go to http://www.atgrace.com/. Click on "registrations" and then "Timber Bay Kairos Retreat." If you haven't previously registered for a Grace event online, you'll need to set up a profile before beginning the registration process.
Kairos Outreach BBQ
Tuesday, August 19th we will not be having our regular Kairos time. We will be going to Lake Riley for a BBQ. This is intended to be an outreach, so bring lots of friends. Here are the details:
What: BBQ Outreach with games and guest speaker, Bob, speaking on "the Grace of God."
Where: Lake Riley (from Grace, go west on Pioneer Trail, turn right on Lake Riley Road, and then turn left at the second entrance.)
When: Tuesday, Aug 19th at 6:30 PM
Bring: Something to grill (for yourself), something to share (preferrably not chips), and unsaved friends. Beverages and paper products will be provided.
Small Groups
There are many small groups that meet throughout the week. Small groups are great opportunities to connect with others and dig into the Word. We'd love to help you get connected to a group. Reply to this email or talk to one of the leaders at Kairos and we'll help you find a group that works for you.
Sit with us on Sundays!
If you're looking for some people to sit with on Sunday mornings, a large group of Kairosians sit together in the 2nd service (10:30). You can find them in the back half of the main floor. When you're looking at the stage, they are on the right...not the far right section, but the next one over...usually about 4-5 rows back. If you'd like to meet someone by a door the first week, email back to this email and we'll make sure you get connected with someone who can meet up with you.
Prayer Opportunities on Sunday Mornings
Every Sunday there are 4 prayer times that happen throughout the morning. This is a great time not only to pray over leaders of the church and the worship services, but it is also a great way to meet other prayer warriors from the church - pastors and elders included.
6:15 AM - If you love to get up early, this is a great time to pray with many of the leaders and staff of Grace Church. Contact Heather Rue at hrue@atgrace.com if interested because she goes to this early prayer time.
8:00 AM - This prayer time is shorter, 1/2 hour, and lead by Pastor Gibson. Contact Betty Yang at bfy8@hotmail.com if interested.
9:00 AM and 10:30 AM - These prayer times meet in the Prayer Room at Grace (if you go in Door 1, this room will be on your left shortly after the restrooms.) These are great times of intercession over the church and the worship service happening at that time. Contact Jennifer King at jmk97m@yahoo.com if interested...or just show up!

Before Kairos
Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, people from Kairos meet at the Prayer Room to pray over the group, the message, upcoming social and outreach events, and anything else on your hearts. This is a great time to connect with other Kairosians through prayer and to lift up our group. Whether you can come for all 30 minutes or only the last 5, we'd love to have you join in! After Kairos
After every Kairos meeting (or anytime for that matter), Mickie and Jon would love to pray with you. Please let them know if you have anything you need prayer for. You can also send requests to Mickie at mtoops@hotmail.com and your requests will be prayed over. All requests will remain confidential.
