What is a 1st serve opportunity?
It is your on ramp to volunteer service at Grace Church. You can try your hand at a “1st serve” to see if it is a fit for you. Jump in and try out service in the ministry of small groups.
A&D Sermon Discussion Leader
Invite Grace Church attendees or visitors who live near you to a discussion of one of the Sunday sermons delivered by Daniel Henderson. Share a meal or dessert and ideas about ways to make the Sunday sermon applicable to everyday living.
Small Group Encouragement Coach
Conduct personal or phone interviews with existing small group leaders or participants for the purpose of providing encouragement and/or prayer support.
Internet Small Group Research
Search the internet for ideas, and suggestions related to the small group values which are prayer, learning, service and caring for one another in relational community.
Local Church Small Group Research
Make connections with other small group leaders at local churches so that Grace Church can share best practices and leadership development ideas with area churches.
Neighborhood Small Group Hosts
Open your home to host a get acquainted meeting with other Grace Church attendees or visitors who live near you. Share a meal or dessert… It’s up to you. We’ll give you the names of a few new people who live close to your home, and you pick the date and make the contact.
