  • 2. The result of sin is death. Rom. 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
  • 3. God loves us and does not want us to experience eternal death. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  • 4. Jesus is the only answer for our sin. John 14:6 “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
  • 5. We must believe Jesus to receive eternal life. John 5:24 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
  • 6. We must ask Jesus to come into our life and this happens by prayer. Rev. 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
