Mission Statement and Core Ministry ValuesThe mission of the Counseling and Care Ministry of Grace Church is to redemptively provide biblical counsel, Christian care and effective resources for individuals seeking assistance for themselves or others.
There are three essential values that shape the Counseling and Care Ministries:
- People need support, encouragement and guidance while journeying through life: Pain, discouragement and confusion are common to the human experience, prompting requests for assistance in our spiritual journey from time to time.
- The triune God is the cure giver: Ultimate healing is found in and through a relationship with Jesus Christ. God is the source of all healing.
- We, the Church, are the caregivers: God's people are the human resources called to bear one another's burdens and love one another. In doing this, people help facilitate God's healing and growth so individuals can increasingly become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
